What did you study while you were in school and how has it influenced your career path?
I studied in the Pharmacy Technician Certification program. I had already been working as an order entry technician but I have just changed jobs to a hands on position in long term care thanks to you all and the confidence I gained through the class.
Can you share a significant accomplishment you've achieved since graduating?
Yes! I passed the PTCB National Certification Exam on my first try on New Year's Eve Day 2022. I am now a fully licensed Virginia Pharmacy Technician and am on the Advisory Board for our school. I have also gotten a new hands on position with higher pay and better hours since the end of class.
How has your education and experiences at AlliedRx helped shape who you are today?
AlliedRx has given me an incredible confidence boost to move forward in my pharmacy technician career. I was no longer afraid to apply and interview for positions outside of my comfort zone and also ask for the pay rate I thought I deserved.

What did you study while you were in school and how has it influenced your career path?
My time in Allied Rx, I studied about medications, pharmaceutical Terminology, calculations, record - keeping, Techniques, Pharmacy laws, and Ethics. It has influenced my character, self-concept, and academic potential. This my belief school education forms the foundation of any society especially for people like me. {I am originally from a tiny nation in West Africa called Sierra Leone -Freetown, that suffered almost 11 years of brutal senseless civil war}. I thank God I am here, healthy and alive. Education plays an important role in molding a nation's future.
Can you share a significant accomplishment you've achieved since graduating?
Since I graduated, I have accomplished a lot especially in the pharmacy. For instance: Interpret and enter prescription, resolves, and triages inbound inquires, understanding of third-party insurance, professional filling of prescriptions (right medication, dosage, amount, route, and time}. Health care facility medication reconciliation, prepares medications for delivery to patients in health care setting, reviewing medications, and to crown it all I was so humble and privilege to be selected to join the advisory board team.
How has your education and experiences at AlliedRx helped shape who you are today?
My experience at Allied Rx has shape me especially with their management and leadership team. They render unconditionally encouragement and support when ever its needed and prepared me as a person today.
