Getting Started

New Student's First 6 Steps

1
Log In to the Student Portal

Access your CMAA coursework at academy.alliedrxtraining.com using the credentials emailed to you when you enrolled.

2
Complete Your Orientation Module

Start with Student Orientation before any coursework. You will learn how to navigate the platform, access grading info, and prepare for your CMAA board exam.

3
Review Your Program Syllabus

Read through the 12-week curriculum — from healthcare ethics and EHR technology through medical billing, coding, and practice management.

4
Bookmark Key Resources

You will work with ICD-10-CM and CPT coding systems in this program. Bookmark your coding reference links in your portal for quick access.

5
Plan Your Weekly Study Time

Aim for 6–8 hours of focused study per week. The billing and coding modules are content-heavy, so spreading your sessions out will help retention.

6
Contact Your Instructor

Reach out to Mrs. Catherine Waldrop at cwaldrop@alliedrxtraining.com to introduce yourself and confirm your start date.

You've Got This. We've Got You.
