As a participant in our online Medical Administrative Assistant program, you'll receive hands-on training in patient care, medical procedures, and front-office management. Our expert instructors will guide you through the essentials of medical assisting, including taking vital signs, assisting with examinations, drawing blood, and managing patient records. You'll also learn effective communication skills to enhance patient interactions and improve overall patient experiences.

The Program consists of a total of 300 Clock Hours.
The Medical Administrative Assistant (CMAA) course is aimed at providing a comprehensive understanding of administrative procedures within a healthcare setting. The course thoroughly explores the range of responsibilities and duties performed by medical administrative assistants.
Students will be introduced to administrative processes common in a medical office environment, such as appointment scheduling, managing patient records, handling billing and collections, understanding basic medical coding, and processing insurance claims.
By the completion of the CMAA course, students will have a holistic understanding of the role and responsibilities of a medical administrative assistant. They will be equipped with the essential skills and knowledge to excel in an administrative role within the healthcare sector.
The Assisting with Medical Specialties course, with a specific focus on Medical Emergencies, is designed to offer students an in-depth perspective on emergency medicine within the broader medical field. Leveraging a mix of lectures, engaging discussions, and illustrative case studies, students will delve into the particularities, responsibilities, and challenges of this critical specialty.
In the context of this course, Medical Emergencies serve as a lens through which students explore the demanding and fast-paced world of emergency medicine. By the end of this course, students will have gained valuable knowledge and understanding of emergency medical procedures, as well as the skills to manage and navigate a variety of urgent and emergent situations in a healthcare setting.
