Dental Assisting is a rapidly growing profession in the United States, and this program will equip you with the knowledge and skills needed to thrive in this field.
As a Dental Assistant, you will play a vital role in the dental practice team, working closely with dentists and dental hygienists. Your responsibilities will include patient interaction, scheduling, vital sign assessment, diagnostic testing, laboratory work, x-ray procedures, and assistance during dental visits and procedures. Dental Assistants also provide post-care instructions and follow-up calls in many practices. Additionally, you'll have the opportunity to perform various laboratory tasks such as coronal polishing, sealant and fluoride application, and topical anesthetic application.
Please note that this program is not available to residents of the following states: AR, LA, MA, MT, ND, NV, NY, PA, RI, WI.
