Welcome Military Spouses!
Are you a military spouse ready to take the next step and pursue your career goals? The My Career Advancement Account (MyCAA) Scholarship Program can help you do just that. With up to $4,000 in tuition assistance, MyCAA can help you reach your dreams.
What is MyCAA?
MyCAA is a career development and training program for military spouses that provides funding for licenses, credentials, and certifications to help them reach their career goals. MyCAA is funded by the Department of Defense and administered by the Department of Defense Spouse Education and Career Opportunities (SECO). MyCAA was created to help military spouses pursue their career goals and gain the skills needed to succeed in their chosen profession.
Who is Eligible?
MyCAA is available to active duty spouses of all branches of the military, including the National Guard and Reserve. Spouses of rank E-1 to E-5, W-1 to W-2, and O-1 to O-2 are eligible for up to $4,000 in tuition assistance to pursue degrees, licenses, and credentials related to their career goals.
How Does MyCAA Work?
MyCAA is a two-step process. First, you must create a MyCAA Account. This account will provide you with access to the MyCAA Scholarship Program. Once you have created your account, you can then apply for the Scholarship Program. Once your application is approved, you will be able to access funds for your education and training.
The funds provided by MyCAA can be used to pay for tuition, fees, and other related expenses. Before you can use the funds, you must first complete the necessary enrollment paperwork with your school. Once the paperwork is complete, the funds will be released.
What Types of Education and Training Are Covered?
MyCAA provides funding for licenses, credentials, and certifications in high-demand, portable career fields. Some of the most common career fields covered by MyCAA include:
• Business and Professional Services
• Healthcare and Wellness
• Information Technology
